Concrete time for 2 & 7

Today we were ready to concrete pads 2 & 7. We started with pad number 2. We added the weed barrier and the chicken wire on top of the sand. We brought down the wheel barrels, water and concrete to the retaining wall. We mixed the concrete until it was like a thick soup and dumped it into the frame over the weed barrier and the chicken wire. We first used a 2 x 4 to smooth out the concrete, then used a trowel to smooth it out even more. We mixed the concrete with a little too much water, so it was going to take a while to dry before we could add the texture. While that pad was drying, we moved over to pad number 7. It took about 16 bags of concrete for this pad.

Pad 7

For pad 7 we used the same process as pad 2. Just needed to transport more concrete to this pad along with more water. It took about 16 bags of concrete for this pad.
